This is what music should be about, Legendary talent not from some computer making it easy, but from years and years of dedication and commitment to the instruments and honing their skills. This IS Music!

Great song. I wonder how many scene or metalcore kids accidentally watched this video since breakdown is in the title. Haha :)

Earl Scruggs, he is probably my best definition of the word "Legend"! Such a wonderfully talented and gifted musician, and from what i've heard a very very kind, humble and warm-hearted man. It would had been an honour to meet him just once, but since i can't, i'll just keep his music in my music and in my heart forever!

    Rest in peace Earl! <3

Fair enough. I don't claim to know much about the "musical community" or about the director of this particular video. Some folks might well respect Shaffer, I just ain't one of them. What I lack in knowledge about the "musical community" I more than make up for in my appreciation of fine music. Feel free to disagree with my assessment of Shaffer's performance, but in my personal opinion, the whole event would have been better without him. Appreciate your feedback, Dave.

You obviously know very little about the musical community and how respected Paul Shaffer is. Also, it's not like his "grandstanding" was bothering anyone else. Heck, he wasn't even in the room! Not to mention that he wasn't running the camera. He can move any way he wants, but it's the director that chose to put the footage in there. Just appreciate the talent.

the fiddle is traditional to bluegrass. Usually it takes center stage to most BG songs
