This is the Conrail Express fan trip passing through Chester on its way to from Philadelphia to Perryville, MD, Enola Yard, Harrisburg, PA and then back to Philadelphia. The consist includes two restored Pennsylvania Railroad E8s, one Amtrak Keystone Cab Car, five Amtrak Regional cars, three Septa Comet IIs, one pullman dining car, Juniata Terminal "Warrior Ridge", Juniata Terminal "Little Juniata Rapids", and PRR "Pennsylvania". It sure is a beautiful sight to see.

  • WOW he was MOVING!!

  • awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The seating assignments were totally random. I was the Onboard Service Manager on the trip and was the one who assigned the seats (donns flame proof suit).

  • what did amtrak snd ns label this train

  • How was it decided who got to travel in the amtrak cars as opposed to the septa cars? i bought my ticket in august and i got stuck in H car.

  • I'm the CIO of the Conrail Historical Society, and we'd like to thank everyone who came out and rode the train, or even came trackside (in the rain, no less) to support us. We're going to try and collect as much of this stuff as possible on our site over the next few days, but now I gotta get to bed. We started prepping the train at 5 this morning... thanks again everyone!

  • nice
