How did you run your cai? I've heard of clearence issues with that. I have the 00vi sitting in my garage right now. I just need the courage to do the swap lol. I will be going with the drilled 4th gen lim, TB, VAFC-2, and IACV. I've read a lot on the .org about the swap, so hopefully I can be prepared...

@n673ma maxima.org is your best source of info for the intake swap. You will have rear valve cover clearance issues, so you have to drill the cover a bit where the coils pack bolts goes and you"ll have to put a 90* pcv valve or a 90* elbow in the pcv hole to clear the intake. I suggest to order matty's iacv/throttle body adaptor plate on maxima.org so it will run like stock... As we all say do it right and it wont throw codes. Now do it and enjoy your new topend power.

It uesd to take twice the time but when you have done it 4 times it become easy.

Worth it, done properly it dosent throw codes

OOvi swap + cai and full exhaust will be as fat as a vq35de swap in a 4th gen maxima on the 1/4 mile and for 1/3 of the price

@maximawot which setup do u have? i'm getting a33 upper and lower intake manifolds, injectors and tb and i'm going with egr delete and vafc II next week!!

i'm buying a whole 00vi kit for a 4th gen application and it comes with the 00 injectors and fuel rail... would you say that having those over you 00vi would be beneficial or are they the same? have you considered a jwt ecu? nice run btw
