Aussiedud can you educate me on what the aussie culture is. I hear everyone talking bout the aussie culture. I work with a lot of eastern europeans that can barely speak english at all and they don't make friends with just anyone but people from there country of origin. Are they living the aussie way?. well you are the expert of the aussie culture, tell me. By the way i am black and talk like an aussie and my family is white. Is that the aussie culture?

Why can't Australians be just Australians. Why should it be white, black, Indian and asians. We will always see black, asians and white people where ever place we go in this country. That is until we die. Non of them are going nowhere coz the are Australians(they are Citizens of Australia). Being a Citizen means you have the right to live in this country period.

Just because *some* people decended from convicts didn't mean they were inferior. They were disadvantaged by the British class system of the times.

Furthermore, subsequent British who came in the 1800s were pleasantly surprised to see what a beautiful, strong and resourceful people the convicts had become.

Amazing what a fresh start and fresh air can do!

@pacificdiamond Mate you are absolutely correct i look at what Australia has achieved in such a SHORT Period of time Like we have the Most cleanest and liveable cities, a very strong economy and Australian tend to help those who experience disasters like the Bushfires. we have invented so much too makes me feel proud and encourages me to do more in my life and in the community too. I know some people laugh at these comments but it won't change how I feel.
