  • I LOVE LOVE Dixieland jazz and it'a a tragedy that this fun music has gone from the current scene. When's the last time a trumpet was featured in a pop song?

  • That's a good question! Perhaps a song from the Group Cake???

  • jelly roll morton never played chicago before ODJB. this is a boast that was proven false. the ODJB was playing loud all night long in Chicago and gave everyone including the blacks their music lessons. that's the truth like or or not, i don't give a shit what the communists wrote 80s years ago about "jungle music" it's all bullshit. see ya later.

  • The dancers are Al Minns and Leon Russel. Two greats in the Lindy Hop and Jazz dance world. It's very exciting to have found this. Thank you so much for putting this on here.

  • You are mistaken. Kid Ory died January 23, 1973.
