I wrote a tune a while back that was purposefully folksy and I used almost exactly this verse guitar. It is uncanny. Even the vocal melody is similar.

Wow, this one just blew my doors right off the hinges, Dan! Great haunting sound (what else could we expect from an EAP poem put to music, eh?). Had me thinking of something the Moody Blues would have covered. Would love to hear you and eddie629 do a collab on this one. Any chance of that happening? This was the first and perhaps only poem I was ever forced to memorize in school. Normally I hate that sort of thing but I didn't mind memorizing this one! It's a classic and you set it to song very well my friend!
