Ladies and Gentlemen, good evening.

Tonight, we should have brought flowers to be offered to all those who gave us enthusiastic support to follow in the pursuit of learning a foreign language. This process demanded years of study and we, students at Institute of Languages, wish to show our gratitude to all our teachers, who with skills, successful teaching techniques and guidance, made it possible for us to receive our certificates.

We are undebted to our families, without whom, this event would prove meaningless. Some of us started to study a foreign language due to the efforts and determination of our parents, some of us had to reduce the time devoted to husbands, wives or the children while we were studying, and even so, we had their understanding.

We pray to the Lord for our future hoping to be good citizens and better human beings, since learning a foreign language broadens our frontiers, shortens distances between our fellowmen and the world.

To all my colleagues, I wish that the path we follow be paved with sense of justice, responsibility and success.
