1/09 *UPDATE* *UPDATE* 1/09 Sorry about the music on this video..You Tube shut my video down because of "music copyright issues" so the only way I could allow the video to be seen was to pick from their list of songs available (and they suck)!!! This video is in Memory of Lucy, the pitbull who was euthanized 12/21/07 unjustly. She had been with the Young family for 6 years with no aggression history but in the end that didn't matter. What mattered was that she was a PITBULL! We fought so hard till the final second of her life trying to save her. My hearts go out to the Taylor family. Our hearts! I am so very sorry that we couldn't bring your girl home.

Hi im a proud responsible pit bull owner, i can only imagine how u guys felt or still feel, just thinking about losing "Goofy" my pit tears me up inside. I love these dogs to me they are family. they're always with u in good and bad, u just feel they're love towards their owners and ppl around them. the only BSL i support is Bann Stupid Legislators! R.I.P Lucy baby, i never met u but judging from those pics, it would of been an honor.

My neighbor had a pit bull that attacked two kids, a month later another pit bull
attacked an elderly women walking home in broad daylight near my neighborhood.They are banned in seven countries .I don't feel all of them are bad yet it could stem back to the owner or breeder .Pitbulls are last on my list of dog breed(s) to get, looks, nature of them are enough to defer me. Sorry about your loss .

so the story is about Lucy getting killed for just being a pitbull, right? I love pitbulls and I always will. A pitbull doesnt alwayys get into fights, you know. just treat them to be severe, mean dogs, and they'll BE mean, aggresive dogs. So sad :'( God Bless you Lucy!

damn why can ppl see how good pits can be yea at times they can be the worst pets ever . most of the shit they say about pits come from damn dog fights and ppl who treat their pits to be like that it's sad when a good pet ends up dying or being but to sleep

Yes lucy was a family pitbull who was euthanized because of his breed..Only reason! And America got involved trying to desperately save her. She didn't deserve to die because of a law.

Here is Exhibit 1A in the case of whether humans are smarter than dogs. 1) No dog would act as stupidly as the DA and the elected officials who stood by and watched this happen. 2) No dog would be as devious and immoral as the DA appears to have been. 3) No human being would be killed for defending him/herself. Should I go on with the presentation of the case or do you want to be here all night?
Verdict: Dogs ARE smarter than the average human

I LIKE YOUR VERDICT....I just wish the people who had the power to save her would have had the heart to do so...I feel sorry for the people in the world who dont know how it feels to be loved by a dog...They are missing one of the biggest emotions in the world....I belive Lucy's killers lacked this exposure..*sigh*..I have been in contact with Lucy's dad. They are doing a well as can be expected and they are moving out of sunnyvale because of all this crap. My heart goes out to them...
