It's slow in this video but much faster really. I just launched it and there is absolutely no lag. It's just the screen recorder that is lagging.

WMC is nice when you're using it on a TV screen, I used to use it in conjunction with "MyMovies" and it worked very well, however I wouldn't use it for any other purpose. For playing music, I really like the Zune software, but it is a bit of a graphics hog (you can change the settings though). I find it better than iTunes to manage and update album info, etc. As far as making playlists and songs, iTunes and Zune are equally easy.
