Old school rocketry sure is simple and common sense huh? I used to laugh at this Russian system over last 40 yrs. Now, I cry thinking of all the money and lives spent on Space Shuttle program!
Now we have nothing left to get into space. As GW Bush said, spending all political capital...and money.

I believe they are from ISS. 6 months without gravity will give you some problem when you go back to earth. Not only in turms of decreased muscle capacity, but also blood circulation. You could pass out by trying to stand up.

Thats actually the reto rockets firing just before impact, they kick up a lot of dust and smoke making the landing look a lot harder than it actually is.
