Shot in the early 2009's. This vintage footage of Blues Dog Dubin was found in a dog bone buried in a backyard in Los Angeles, CA. Blues Dog Dubin prefered a Gretch Americana series guitar and played with a 5/8 Craftsman socket slide on his left pinky finger. That must be his famous dog Maggie. Looks like it was shot at his home.
My Grandpappy recalls when Blues Dog was this young. Back then he was way out west. Grandpaps said this ditty is called 'Bone Yard Blues'. With it came his fortune and fame. No one knows where Blues Dog Dubin was burried. But they say Maggie never left Los Angeles.

got the same guitar, and it´s terrific for slide playing and delta blues, like it even more than my gibson j45 for these styles

Thanks for posting this video. I've been searching for this one since I don't know how long (must have been at least since febr. 23, 2009). Nice playing and great quality film too.
