it did nothing for me.all it did that the error didnt come up but the web got closed which i still cant go.

Correct. Its not like it slows your computer down anyways. (Unless you have a low grade dialup, the information that gets sent doesnt contain personal information, and its not big amounts of data)
Its terrible to disable, especially if you have Vista

You should not turn off error reporting as it reduces bugs in drivers and applications, thus improving the reliability of your system.
