Spilled Liquid On My MacBook Pro

I spilled a drink on my MacBook Pro over the weekend. I had to decide if I wanted to take it in and have it diagnosed and fixed...cost ranging from $40 to $900, or I could wait and see what I could do to get it working on my own. Guess what? I got it working! Here's the story...Kev

and after drying it off i kept it upside down till the morning. I opened up the bottom and checked for any liquid and thankfuly it did not seep into the inner parts.

I was moving a Speaker and had my interface on the speaker i was moving.The interface was plugged up to my 13"mac book pro i just got 2 months ago. When i moved the speaker the usb cable plugged into the computer and sound interface tripped my beer that thankfully was not all the way full. the beer feel and spilt some beer on the left part of the laptop and keyboard.The mac book pro was on to when this happened.So i turned it up side down slowly and went to shut it down after that i dried it off

You saved my life like you could not even imagine. I did the EXACT same thing except it was water. I think I went to hell and back, when I went to the Apple store they wanted to charge me $755 plus tax & there was no way I was going to pay that when I already paid enough for this computer. I was looking all over the internet for possible solutions & didnt find anything until I stumbled on to your video.
