Dawn of War II - Last Stand - Stage 20 - Chaos Overlord going down

I actually played like 24 hours of DoW2 the past week just because of Last Stand. A very fun little update Relic gave to us in the times of overpriced DLC,


I started for a random game: We got a setup of my Lv19 Farseer, a Lv7 Mekboy and a Lv11 Space Marine.


It started out with me dieing at Stage 3 due to my paper armor and not being careful. From then on we advanced pretty quick. At the higher levels 17-19 our setup really paid out as everyone had means to kite, move, teleport or hide.

So we finally arrived at 20 with this semi low level group. We held out for more than 5 minutes without doing any real damage. The mekboy had some problems to adept and went down a couple of times. We managed to kill all the red demon spawns and were now facing all the revived boss monsters - that are able to revive each other. We somehow managed to get a nice little seperation in so I was able to keep 4 of them busy in one corner with a confuse cycle while we worked on the rest in the other corner. Due to a REALLY lucky move my Eldaar Farseer clone got the Overlord boss stuck with a group teleport - they basically pwned themself. Still an amazing game :) gg


If you ask for my farseer setup:

- Conceal, Group Teleport, Confuse & Mass Confuse
- Energy Regen Armor and Blade
- 25% Movement Pistol

You die very fast if you make an error but have the power to keep the whole map busy while Group Teleporting out dead teammates and reviving them under the protection of Conceal

Because by now everyone who plays this on a regular basis has grown accustomed to the ingame soundtrack

when you got level 20 on ur eldar i see that you unlock something but it say you will restart level 20. if you get back to level 1 will it gives some new weapons if you get some new levels? or you will start all over again?

@boomheadshotyeah It´s the Elite tokens. They give a point bonus. Sadly no fancy weapons or any other award. Basically a way for people who love the grind ;)

Say that ork there was pretty good, what other tools did he use? Saw he has the shoota, the teleporta pack and the proxy mines but you recall what else he had on?

with the glitch it's also hard, cuz if you do the glitch and reach wave 20, you will spawn behind some of the barriers. So that sucks

i reached wave 20 twice , the first for 1 min. the second for 30 seconds

i've reached wave 20 three times :D 2 first times the screen was all black and i didnt see anything expect their healthbars, and the 3rd time, i saw the map yay, but we didnt win. while our sorcrere was warping everywhere to hide, the others ressed all the warbosses lictor alphas and those. became impossible :D
