I actually bought a 90º metal bracket from home depot to hold to pieces of wood together, then cut it accordingly for my needs. No precision drilling and cutting here, but it managed to hold the motor enough that I wasn't stripping spur gears!
did you use the stock brake? Im in the process of converting now. And i bought a spliter connector for the ESC/Brake from the reciever. I hope i can sort it out so that i use the OEM brakes and the motor just goes to neutral when the throttle is off.
@kylexps Yep, I used the stock brake. I used my radio's (Spektrum DX 3.0) channel mixer to apply the brake servo when I pulled the brake while the motor went into neutral. Sorry for the late reply!
