This is me fighting the second secret boss in KH:BBS. This one is International only and he is definitely the hardest boss in the game. If you want to level up quickly, go here:

Here's a boss guide specifically for Terra:

Terra has it rough for this fight. He's slow and he is left open to damage in between dodges. When I first started trying to beat MF (Mysterious Figure) with him, all he did was use the Doom attack (white lines) that you have to break out of multiple times, sometimes even 3 times in a row which is impossible to mash your way out of. He also frequently used the orb laser attack which is very hard to dodge with Terra; the best way I have found to dodge the laser is to have Leaf Bracer turned on and constantly cast Curaga. Frankly, I thought defeating Mysterious Figure with Terra was impossible.

I read that certain things might change the difficulty of MF or the attacks he uses. Among these things supposedly are your level, your command deck, your played time, the amount of Munny you have... but now I can say without a doubt that none of these have anything to do with it. Thanks to a youtube user named sora8208, who suggested that turning off unnecessary abilities makes him easier, I found a way to beat him on Terra.

Basically, go through your abilities list and turn off every ability that you will not need for this fight. The abilities I kept turned on were:
- Thunder Boost
- Cure Boost
- Attack Haste
- Magic Haste
- Reload Boost
- Second Chance
- Once More
- Scan
- Leaf Bracer

Those are the only abilities I used and he became a LOT easier. Even so, the strategy I formulated remained the same:

Terra's dodge is slow and leaves him vulnerable. To make up for this, you have to use Commands that make you invulnerable or Curaga with the Leaf Bracer ability. If you slide and the immediately use Thunder or Fire Surge afterwards, Terra is immune to damage for that whole time. This means that you have to use your Surge attack as another defensive ability as well as your main source of damage.

The basic rule I go by is this: if you are in the middle of a slide and you see MF use a Doom, Tornado or X-Blade attack, spam your Surge attack during the slide so you will use it right away. If you see MF start his fire attack and you are not at 1hp, start sliding, otherwise use Curaga. If you see MF start to use his flying charge attack, block (with renewal block of course). If you see MF go into a long combo that you can predict, block the end of it but do not counter. If you see MF summoning orbs, do not attack him but instead run away and start spamming Curaga.

As for attacking, if you use Surge and MF isn't trying to block at the end of your attack, use it again right away. If you see him trying to block, back off for a few seconds before your next surge. If you see him summoning orbs, DO NOT attack him, it will only make things worse. Back off, get rid of your lock on him if you have to, and spam Curaga.

Aside from everything I've said above, remember that you CAN damage the Mysterious Figure when he is invisible. Do not be afraid to try and stun him during this time to make his attacks more bearable.

@Sceletonduded I'm telling you, Nomura himself stated the guy in the KH3D trailer to be MF. This guy looks like young MX (not Xemnas, young MX who managed to travel in time or something). Period.

How do you unlock the MF do you have to beat vanitas spirit first or what?

@YouNoobxD94 it couldn't of have been cause master xehanort never be came a nobody yet till a few years before kingdom hearts 1 so it had to be the master sin one if you look at some of the attacks they almost look the same as the masters.

@SteelPokemonFan Sorry to ruin your theory, but MF is stated to be in KH3D; it's confirmed it's the guy (looking identically to young Master Xehanort) standing next to Vanitas in the Jump Festa trailer. It's practically 99% certain MF is young MX :P
