I explain why I stopped using the word "God" to describe anything correlated with a reality outside of our own minds, pending evidence that would persuade me to do so.

Hillel died in 10 CE. His ideas helped shape the Pharasaic Theology that allowed Judaism to survive after the second destruction of the Temple in 70 CE.

Evid3nc3, thank you so much for your series of videos. They are by far๏ปฟ the most educated, clear, concise, non-offensive and rational series of videos for understanding the truth of religion.

What most people fail to understand or just want to ignore is,man is a by product of the planet, our environment is not made for us we as species just adapted to our environment,so when you understand this there is no more question about why is everything organized,it is not organized for us,we just evolved from it,we as a species look for pasterns and that's why it looks like it is organized for us but its NOT its just our human nature to seek a pattern and let our๏ปฟ imagination get away from us.

the creators do not have to be Divine in nature Raelists and๏ปฟ boys and girls at Aetherius Society believe that we are one big experiment by aliens for instance but you have believe in higher intelligence to be ID proponent.

have a good day to you.

Well said. This gets overlooked so much, and many people๏ปฟ take it for granted, and it often goes unnoticed in debates and arguments.

Well put, I usually point out similar things with the following example.

If water was sentient, it would perpetually marvel at how๏ปฟ everything was designed so perfectly for it. A puddle on the ground, amazed at the perfect shape the pothole has taken for them. A jug of water, marveling at the glass so perfectly shaped exactly for them. Now poor them into a shoe "oh my God! How this shoe is so perfectly designed for us--it accommodates our shape so perfectly!"

Very well said. I recognize step by step๏ปฟ I myself experienced. Thank you for putting it all in words, in a way I had difficulty finding.

So, you are telling๏ปฟ me that you can be creationist and still be atheist and theist. Mind blown if true.

Ok, now when you๏ปฟ make your attitiude clear there's really nothing I can say than recommend you to study the thought of St. Thomas and its contemporary "students", interpretators. Before I was prejustified, but now I get it.

None of this ever made sense to me before, I always knew Christianity, Judaism and Islam were polytheistic but I could never figure it out. It never made sense to me for Yahweh to be๏ปฟ a jealous god (if other gods were supposedly "false gods")

I would define myself also as an atheist, but at todays hectic enviroment panteistic defination of god fashinates me. I understand, why it is making a consept like god quite meaningless when used to descripe "everythig", but it reminds me of the stories how atoms formed in the stars and๏ปฟ how life evolved in the earth. It makes me more optimistic.
