  • It wasn't a Dialogue Mass.

  • PATER NOSTER, qui es in caelis,

    sanctificetur nomen tuum.

Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra.

Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.

Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

  • Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!

  • Very beautiful thank you!!

  • @krakaneti I've seen both. Since the dipthong making the long A sound is ae in traditional ecclesial latin, caelis would be preferred. However, both are perfectly acceptable, just like color/ colour.

  • @itsmefoo it is spelled "coelis" , take it from a guy who studies Latin.

  • Very nice. Everything fits together, is ordered, and reverent. Kudos for a very clear recording "from the pew"!

  • PAX,,,nice

  • Many thanks! Roman Catholics need more piety at Holy Mass as well as within their private lives, not less (if possible). Pax et bonum!

  • Fraternitas Sacredotalis Sancti Petri

    is great.

  • @jzlioncourt

Sicut erat in principio et nunc et semper et in saecula saeculorum. Amen!

  • @itsmefoo Excellent ! I was an altar boy with the Latin Mass for many years. Many don't realize that the Mass didn't change to the vernacular overnight. It took about a decade , & for a long time the Mass was about 1/2 English & 1/2 Latin. To pick up briefly from your Pater N. : Libera nos quaesumus Domine ab omnibus malis , praeteritis Presentibus et futuris , et intercendente beatae gloriosae semper Virgine Maria genitricis Dei et Domini nostri Jesu Christi , sed beatae ETC.
