  • No offense but drums are really Sylosis' achilles heel.

  • @storedmush Being that this is a cover he's outlining Gene Holgan's original drumming. Referring to Sylosis` songs, Rob plays drums that fit the music that aren't going to bore the listener or try and "over play" the other instruments. Eclipsed for example, not playing double kicks or filling every 5 seconds, but how he uses the double ride, open hi-hat and kicks to create interesting drumming. Lets see you post some drums covers that are 'better' I'm sure we can all judge you.

  • This is great but that second solo is pretty average, Bobby Kolbe's original solo is vastly better, crazy jazz shredding lol

  • @guitarshredking Regardless, it's a cover so I don't think they wanted to be so strict and cover it note for note, can't blame them I'm sure most people have their own "ideas" that they incorporate into songs.

  • @KFSBTYR Agreed, they just seem to get better every time I hear them, even in live recordings you can hear how much they're progressing as individuals and as a band, like the vocals in this are more like Josh's live vocals a lot more 'power - driven' adds so much to the song and overall just makes the song heavier.

  • I was just thinking that they sound a lot like death :D by the way, check out my new together as one cover too.

  • @UKRCyanide Completely agree, man. Couldn't have said it better. Rob does what he needs to do for the music, and it works well. It works very well.

  • i nominate this for best Death cover

  • @storedmush 1. like storedmush said, this is a cover, so these are Gene Holgan's drums, and if you are saying they are bad... you obviously are lost as to what is good and bad drumming.

  • @Colton527 IWABO is actually more interesting than all the other chug chug hard/metal/deathcore bands. I jam a few of their songs. Not often, but like I said, they're better than the GENERIC core.

  • People who think I wrestled a bear once and chug chug hardcore bands are badass. Bands that have no rhythm, technical, or creative qualities.

  • @Colton527 damn man. that sucks. how can anyone not say they are good.

  • @1stdeadpresident They we're already here and they came to kansas city :) Shouldve come man, Me and friends were the only one there for them, everyone else couldn't tell the difference between talent and shit
