  • he was'nt even allowed to take food with the white film crew at their canteen!sad history of the usa...

  • It's amazing to see Bill "Bojangles" Robinson dancing this great in this film at age 52. He was 65 when he starred in the 1943 film "Stormy Weather," with Lena Horne (now 91 years young, 05/30/17).

  • Dancing genius. I am blessed to be able to see this. Thanks.

  • Ask UCLA

  • SO does that mean that somewhere there is a version with his feet in it??

  • God Bless Bill Robinson a great American.

  • IT wasn't the camera man. When dupe prints were made for the restoration, the feet were cut off, due to an odd aspect ratio for early sound films.

  • Who ever the Camrea op was I hope was fired. They really didnt know who to shoot tap danceing. a real shame.
