Here is an example of the Mini-Meteor harp-voiced amplifier produced by Scott Berberian at meteoramps.com. Please listen to a variety of other players and samples before judging the amp as this is just a little taste with one of a variety of settings, e.g, Meat-input (as opposed to the meatier input), low volume, with tone and presence at about 7. The Golden Melody harmonica I play is a bit trebly and raspy by definition and the bass is low on the dial on this little video.

  • hey D great demo!

  • @bigedblues Thanks blood! I look forward to sharing the stage soon now that your all tuned up! My best. d

  • 15" speaker?

  • No this was the earlier version with (sheesh now I forget!) a 10'' and 12'' I believe. Sold a while ago. My best. d

  • Sounds quite nice sounds. Did Lee influence you ?

  • Actually my first minor keyed harp was given to me by Lee as a contest award years ago at a Dave Barrett masterclass talent thing. Lee's a terrific and generous and enthusiatic guy. If loving and respecting someones playing is considered "influence" he's definitely influenced me. I appreciate the thought. My best. d

  • "Too many notes" ?

No way ! I enjoyed every one of them !!

  • sounds like fun to me

  • p.s. I'm sure my girlfriend who is pregnant with our twins (like my Manhattan apartment neighbors) is going to be ecstatic about my plan! d

  • I'll do another in the near future of the Mini-Meteor, and maybe one or two others (possibly a Buffalo Amp Gibson clone voiced for harp). My intention is to play nearly the same song(s) or riff(s) in nearly the same keys of the same harps in the same room (If I don't get evicted for the volume) with the same mike without any effects which should exemplify the tonal differences in the amps. This from an average player (relative to the Olympians). Could be fun! My best. d
