Do Filipinos have a habit of voting come election time? The ones in my hometown of Calgary predominantly live in the riding of Calgary East, which consistently has the lowest voter turnout % of all Calgary ridings (low to mid 40s). Voter apathy there allows a slovenly backbencher (Deepak Obhrai) to continue to be reelected for the Conservatives.
Please make Parm Gill a three time loser on May 2nd so that we don't have to put up with any more of his or Jason Kenney's sleazy tactics.

Yeah, you may think with all your sneaky political schemes you and Mr. Harper may have a chance to get elected in Brampton - Springdale, but once you've got elected Canadians will know they made the wrong choice, BRAMPTONIANS living in springdale will KNOW they made the wrong choice. The Filipino community is a lot less gullible here in BC it seems. Most members we speak to are not too happy with Conservatives because of decreases in family reunification, 4 year limit for temporary foreign workers and the live in caregivers program decreasing. It is the Liberals who are proposing better protection for live in caregivers and fairness for caregivers and employers so the program doesn't fade away.
