Ha! I was supposed to get to go this summer to China for the Olympics (for work), but now I don't. I got cut due to downsizing of the team my company is sending over.

Sorry to hear that! You know, in 1972 I went to see my family in Wiesbaden, and my inlaws and I drove through Innsbruck, slept at the gas station at the bottom of the stairs, then later 2-weeks before the Israeli shootings, we drove through Munchen, oops Munich. I love the Olympics. We watch them everytime. They are a wonderful thing for us all! Did you see Apollo win Dancing with the Stars?!

Lets not mistake keeping the Olympics free for all with turning a blind eye. Most of us have our eyes wide open. There are many ways to participate in protesting oppression. For one, by disagreeing with most of the Democrats in Congress! But the Olympics should be left alone. I do not in any way approve of China and its nonhumanitarian activities. But, they may still learn from us all!
