When Dickie Goodman & Bill Buchanan first came up with these cut-in novelties, some record companies filed a lawsuit against the two for copyright violation. The verdict went in G&B's favor, however, citing that these narratives were a newly created work and not a duplication of existing material.

Several decades after this, there is actually a reporter on ITN News called Nina Nannar - causing this poster to think 'Ne-ne-na-na-na-na-nu-nu!'

MY GOD!!! I haven't heard that in decades! I may still have that 45rpm somewhere. There are so many that would hear this today and not know that the bits and pieces you hear are parts of songs from the 50's. GENERAL ELVIS PRESLEY: thats' priceless!!!! No one does that stuff anymore. A lost art for sure.
