Claymation takes hours & hours of tedious work. Just putting the framework together took days. Each digital picture had to be added one by one. Over 1,000 frames were added to make this entire film. Each frame was 3 thousands of a second long.

Aaron and Sydney originally thought of the idea, of making a claymation film, after watching Nicholas Parks' claymation movies.
Titles include:
"A Close Shave"
"The Wrong Trousers"
and
"A Grand Day Out"
all starring Wallace & Gromit.

They used a digital camera attached to a tripod to take all their pictures. Several different colors of clay were used to create the characters. All their creative film making was done on the weekends so as not to interfere with their school studies.

Aaron was 10 years old and Sydney was 8 when they made these small claymation films. Now that they are a few years older, they have plans on making many more films. Which I'm sure will be inventive, creative and exciting just like their first.

Enjoy!
