How do you spice up the introduction to a corporate annual dinner? Why, with a creative video presentation, of course!

In the mid-section of this video (once you get past Atta - the jolly host - and his offbeat rantings), paper pieces of a Malaysian kampung (village) setting are rudimentarily brought on screen by hands to visually illustrate the growth of our department.

The production was made possible with the help of 11 volunteers, 3 days on drawing, coloring and cutting out the pieces, 6 hours of video shooting, and 2 sleepless nights of editing.

I served as writer, director and producer.

This presentation was broadcasted before an audience of about 250 who attended the Shell IT Application Hosting appreciation dinner on June 21, 2008 at Parkroyal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The dinner is to be our last as Shell staff. We will be T-Systems come July 1st, 2008.
