US soldier guilty of rape in IRAQ

A jury in the US state of Kentucky has found a former private soldier guilty of the rape of a 14-

year-old Iraqi girl and the killing of her and her family.

Four other soldiers are serving sentences of between five and 110 years for their roles in the 2006 attack and

Steven Green, 24, faces a possible death sentence for his crimes.

I don't support the troops. I don't care why they joined or if they believe they are doing good, they are the only thing standing in the way of peace, for without the troops, war would be impossible. Wasting time trying to get the businessmen and politicians to stop profiting from war allows another generation of brainwashed children to grow into tools of the empire, and gears of the war machine. Stopping people from joining the military is the only way to stop war, Peace.

An American soldier committed the crimes of rape and murder. His friends testified against him and he was sentenced to life in military prison. No one can guarantee every soldier will be a gentleman; but prosecuting the bad ones is the best anybody can do.

It's the other armies of the world we have to worry about. The ones who don't see anything wrong with their soldiers raping and killing us.

I hate the USA, my blood literally boils over this. I can't even begin to imagine how the victims of this Bush/Cheney/Republican/Corpora­te murder spree must feel. If it were my friends or family, I'd dedicate my life to the destruction of the guilty.
