Soaring in Florida with a Schweizer 2-33 and 1-26. We used a Cessna 152 as the tow plane and a Piper J-3 Cub as the spot plane. This movie was shot over a 4 hour period with one camera back in 2004. The music is "Jupiter" from Holst's "The Plants" played by the London Symphony Orchestra.

  • Terrific video; unfortunately, this terrific music (which I've both played and conducted many times), completely covers up the beautiful sounds of soaring. If you want to have some music in the background in a very minor way, at least it would be less intrusive. I'd rather hear what the soaring experience sounded like.

  • Nice job. Very steady and professional looking air footage. I love to fly the 1-26

  • I still intend to take lessons this year and I'm 67. I had some lessons back in my twenties now I wish I had kept it up. Great video, I thought you had different music before. Learning to fly by Pink Floyd.

  • I enjoy flying my gliding club's 2-33's and 1-26's. Something I just learned is that our club, in Beloit Wisconsin, has one of the origional 2-33's, it's Serial Number is... 2.

  • Really enjoyed the video work! Nice job! I'm a 1-26 flyer too!
