Two decades ago, shocked by the horors seen in the Romanian orphanages, many Westerners adopted sick, malnourished and badly treated Romanian children. They offered them a better life, but also a lot of love and a family life. After twenty years, some of these children have started to look for their roots.

This is the first of a series of video programs aired by Antena 1 TV.
