Are you suggesting that the excruciating torture (vivisection) an infant boy is put through while part of his genial organ is ripped off is acceptable because women have to also endure pain?

@salsasusie1 Your son will have his own thoughts about HIS body. It is a very sick adult who carves their sexual preference into a child's genitals.

To suggest that the decision to slice off part of a child's genital organs is on par with decisions about nursery decorations is ... sociopathic. But that's what circumcision is sociopathic.

Better you and your husband should figure out what the foreskin is for, even though your poor husband was also robbed, than to impose that upon a child.

@Bonobo3D , I think only someone deeply disturbed would suggest what you're suggesting--- that Amanda is somehow holding the belief that because women experience physical pain in childbirth, then men SHOULD also experience physical pain as infants. This is an incredibly dishonest inference on your part, and you should apologize for being so intellectually obtuse. If circumcision is an underlying factor for MEN leaving, then women could argue the same thing--- but don't.

It's just another white man making excuses for a common social and cultural phenomenon, which has become epidemic in some minority cultures. This kind of apology just encourages learned helplessness and the "I'm a victim" culture that perpetuates a failing of moral character and destroys communities.
