  • very well done.

  • For me this is the best Nosferatu version, with original german subtitles, and the real character names, count Orlok, not Dracula, Hutter, not Harker. This is why this movie is so special, it's a complete different version of Bram Stokes novel

  • compliments

    five tears : )

  • objection your honor; check the text @ 9:43 saying: ...das wunder....zur selben stunde hörte das grosse sterben auf...siegreiche strahlen der lebendigen sonne...war der schatten des totenvogels verweht...

  • Oh hell ya!!! 'On and on and on and on and on'. Well done, my friend.

  • She Dies

  • There are actually two versions-- this appears to be the version found in French archives where she does die-- the German version was sanitized by censors. .. Ellen (Mina character in Stoker's book- did not die in the German version found hidden under another title. Murnau was forced by Stoker's widow to burn all copies, (but did not!) fortunately for film history

  • I don't understand, at the end of the film, does Hutter's wife die or does she just faint?

  • Very nice! Theme music fits perfectly

  • Thank you! I am a student of early films
