Eleven year veteran of the LGBT movement and Associate Director of Diversity at the Human Rights Campaign, Donna Payne, has had many uncomfortable and difficult conversations. Through those difficult conversations, however, shes seen the movement for equal rights grow.   • Im moved by this story…and i think the point was that all though i can be hard we have to have these type of conversation to move forward. I got that. What pisses me of a lil is that these people are human, flawed, and just like us. Why do I alway feel like we are always asking permission to be include or asking permission to live our lives. Maybe not always directly but indirectly is seem like that. That doesn't sit well wit me in my spirit
