McDonalds being sued over Happy Meals!

Im a victim of MCdonalds. Growing up, i had lots of kids meals. Did i cry about it? No. Did my parents? No. Did i become obese? I sure didnt. Mcdonalds halloween buckets hurt my eye though, I had to wear a patch. But we didnt sue, did we? Nope. I've been eating Mcdonalds for as long as i can remember. Has it affected me? It has not... People, learn to eat in moderation, eat healthy, yet treat yourself to your favorites (such as.... happy meals! :p) Remember to exersize, Drink alot of water, and be healthy! Quit blaming food industries for your weight, and/or your childs obesity, eating habbits, or whatever else.. It's not MCDonalds, Jack In The Box or Wendy's fault. It's your choice to get in your car and drive through... The world needs to learn to quit blaming their faults on other people and/or all of the above. Make better choices. Learn to control your children, your adults, they are children! Learn how to say NO. And mean it when you say it... Other than that i am out yall! Give your kids a happy meal, it's okay.. But do it all in moderation!

I strongly disagree with you. You need to do some research on marketing techniques. I suggest watching Supersize Me, Fast Food Nation and a book called Chew on this. You said it yourself if Mcdonalds takes toys out of Happy Meals who is going to want them? If you have ever watched a kids show there are an abundance of Mcdonalds commercials. A smiling clown showing off the new toy. When they actually eat the food its covered in salt, fat and sugar, making the food addictive.

@kay9tr I've watched it. And i understand what your saying. But McDonalds is not going to cause obesity.. If eatin in moderation. Are you going to feed your kids Mcdonalds for breakfast lunch and dinner? It's all about balance, and nutrition, and exersize........... I appreciate your opinion.. But parent can learn how to say NO. And kids can learn to LISTEN and obey their parents. I eat Mcdonalds, I eat fast food all of the time, Im not obese, over weight, or suing.

i went in there the other day and they had a deal on the meal i usually get (the chicken ranch BLT) for five dollars. I was about to pull out my wallet ready to pay full price when the woman behind the cash register informed me that it was five dollars. as for the toy thing, where i live i heardly see any kids come into mcdonald's because sometimes i go there after work to have lunch and the location is in a shopping center across from a high school.

You ROCK! I agree 100% with everything you said. It's the parent's fault--they need to get off their lazy asses & give their kids healthy meals at home, and use McDonald's as a treat, not for every meal. Leave the toy & the fries in the meal. DON'T screw with the Happy Meals--make kids go out and EXERCISE once in a while! I STILL love the toy in the Happy Meals! NO ONE forces Happy Meals down anyone's throats, and as long as it's an occasional treat, there's NOTHING wrong with a Happy Meal.
