Croc: Legend of the Gobbos review (part 1)

Yes, I've risen from the dead to bring you a game older than probably most of my fan base (just kidding).

I wonder if anybody remembers this little bugger from the 90s. Well I certainly do, and now that my PS1 is working again, I wanted to pop him in and check him out. Boy was I surprised how poorly this game aged.

I realize that nostalgia is a powerful thing, and if you disagree with me on this game, don't take this part of the review too hard. Instead, take the next part as a pure offense. You know, as soon as I finish it. Bah, I'm regressing to old ways again...

And to all my haters, I would appreciate if for once you stopped hating me for what I review and just laugh a little.

Dude, this game KICKED ASS!!!! That thing on Chumly's back is a ROCKET (not a sex toy). But i will have to agree with you on the fact that the boxes don't reapear after you break them. BTW Croc was created by Argonaut. All Fox did was publish it.

At least croc died because of faults. Crash and spyro have been brutally murdered by their modern games, crash looks like shit now, and his games are simple and boring, and don't forget new spyro, who looks like he was run over by a truck, eaten by a cat, barfed up with a hairball, eaten again, then shit out.

croc failed because of the camera and faulty graphics but the biggest failure is the fact its a crappy crash knockoff right down to the belly smash

This was average at best when it came out and by todays standards its terrible. I love old platformers like crash, spyro, banjo kazooie, ect but this game just isnt very good. I love the original contra but if someone says it sucks i dont get mad because they have valid complaints. Just because its old doesnt mean its good, does anyone still use computers from the early 90s? They were great then and shit now, deal with it.
