Newcastle-upon-Tyne Timelapse

PLEASE WATCH HD VERSION

Timelapse film of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Shot on a Nikon D300 on a Manfrotto tripod, which clearly wasn't as stable as it should have been, hence the wobbles.

Not as good as I wanted it to be, but reasonably happy for my first attempt at timelapse. The bit outside St James' Park is clearly filler after I ran out of time and patience.

Brilliant video. How long did you stay at each location for?

@cogan83 Thanks for the comment. I stayed different times at different places, ranging from 20 minutes on Northumberland Street, to about 1-2 hours for the sun over the Tyne. That was quite cold...

Great video, Ive heard their planning to put in ticket barriers at Monument Station, any idea if this has happened yet?

They've got barriers, but usually there's just an army of people checking you have a ticket

Some great shots here mate, be PROUD not embarrassed. Particularly like the shot at Central Station Metro with the Jackie Milburn statue.... fantastic. About to start shooting a video podcast for time lapse tips and tricks, you can safely skip the first couple of episodes as you don"t need em. Give you a shout when everything goes live.
