The Angora Napkin pilot premieres at the Ottawa International Animation Festival Oct 15th, 2009!

Teletoon will be airing the pilot later in the month as well!

Hell of a lot more entertaining than anything on Adult Swim currently. (Caught the pilot on that other popular video website.) And yeah it harkens back to the 1990's golden age of cartoons. Lot of pop-culture reference jokes rapidfire back to back that the older viewers would get. Thumbs up!

Now the question is... Can they keep up the pilot show's quality and keep it fresh for a whole series? (Remember Ren&Stimpy was great until they pushed some things too far with the "uncensored" version.)

I downloaded the pilot from itunes and I loved it. I hope this becomes a series, and I hope that more Cub music is featured too! Awesome animation + Cuddlecore = awesome.

After Nickelodeon stupidly canceled THE MIGHTY B! (making me lose all respect for that network), ANGORA NAPKIN is something I so want to see! (Hey, that rhymed!) Both have awesome and appealing animation reminiscent of John Kricfalusi's work.

If this makes it as a series (I hope it does), Adult Swim so needs to pick this up! It's too good (and somewhat too adult, considering the comic-book it was based on!) for CN's regular lineup.

yea i guess all i really watch on tv are cartoons and the food network... and i never really noticed a decline because i dont watch alot of tv i guess :)

and yes metalocalypse is AMAZING

I've heard "Metalocalypse" is good and I did neglect to mention the "Venture Brothers" but you must admit (even according to your list) there is a dearth of quality animated series on air. We are a long way away from the 90s resurgence of animated series. Who knows? Maybe we're getting back on track.

This is rad. I hope someone picks up this show. Cartoons more or less suck nowadays (though the surrealist comedy of "Flapjack" is a noteworthy exception). It's great to see something so fresh and fun.

It's "Josie and the Pussycats" meets "Ren and Stimpy". I AM SO THERE!!!
