  • we will do the video, but you need to start practicing snow plow stop with your left leg and then transition into hockey stop.

  • Outside edges are equally important for crossovers.

  • yes, Next vid is on ouside edges. We decided to split the videos into inside and outside edges

  • @HockeyUsDotCom i thought you werent supposed to tie your skates behind the heel?

  • i never thought it would be this hard to skate... that looks hard......

  • thank you, I solved problem my falt!!!

  • I can do inside edges no problem. I have little confidence in my left outside edge, and none at all in my right. Makes tight turns difficult.

  • that skating sound is awesome

  • awesome tutorial. you guys make the best ones on youtube from what i've seen so far haha

  • holy shit this is my coach!

  • @giannitodaro It is also important to have sharpened skates, if you don't have, they won't "hold" you in turn and you'll be more vulnerable to fall ;) but falling is a part of learning how to skate.Just stand up and go on.

  • show a vid for the d and why you have to bend your nees

  • @vladisk He's wearing Bauer skates. I'm not sure exactly why it makes that crushing sound, possibly compression of the ice? I don't know. It only happens when your really driving your edge in.
