Archery, Mathews Reezen 6.5

Roger Seward shooting the new Mathews reezen 6.5 - - - Arrows are carbon express 3D select 250's with 100 grn field points. I have a 27" draw and the bow is maxed at 72 lbs. These arrows wobble way too much at that distance. You really need a stiffer spined arrow for this bow at my settings. I also shoot aramid 250s and they are great but a little heavy and slower.

hey man i was wondering about the Reezen 6.5 does it have a terrible kick back because i had a dude told me it did because i have the z7 for my taking but the reezen has the fps just wondering write back thanks

I didnt have any kickback with my reezen 6.5 .....i didnt see a noticeable drop in speed between the two bows unless i chrono'd them. Shoot what ever makes you feel comfortable.

theres too many other bow manufacturers that actualy put time & effort into making the bows they sell instead of spending most of their budget on advertising their name(( like mathews.)) thats why I will never buy Another mathews or have anything good to say about them. their last 3 bows are total crap... no offense.

for the price of a mathews, you could get 2 better bows!

I completely agree with you. Although i have had good luck with my DXT, Monster XLR8, and Z7. But i tell ya, if i wasnt with mattews id be with Hoyt. I think they have their stuff together...... and to have a bow withstand 1500 dry fires.....ive seen mathews disintegrate after one dry fire.

actualy im a hoyt power halk fan. smooth, quiet, fast enough, lite weight but i dont like the double cam or (cam & a half). dont ask.

The mic is actually screwed up. The reezen was working well but i have retired it and went with the new Z7. The Z7 is so much quieter and smoother. . . .granted it is a tad slower but you can hardly tell unless your chrono'ing the thing.

My first deer was taken with my Bear kodiak @ 50 # recurve so don't start letting that nose get to high in the air pal cause you aint the only person who can shoot a traditional bow !!
