I went to Beatrix Potter School in the 1950s, and remember watching the steam trains pull out of Earlsfield Station.

If you go to the Beatrix Potter website you will see more about the re-enactment including BBC reports. I happened to be there with a tiny camera and put it on YouTube at the request of the Head of BP
