  • Dang...Who needs 725k to take care of kids?

  • What Kid Needs $5,000 Per Month? There Should Be A Cap On Child Support. So If I Make 5.2 Millione As A Pro Player And Retire But I Get Divorced They Still Use My 5.2 Millione As My Earning Potential??? Crazy World We Live In..Unless The Child Has Severe Special Needs I Think $5,000 Per Month For 2 Children Is Crazy Thats $60,000 Per Year...

  • Texas needs Equal Parenting and do away with the Child Support/Welfare tax free incentive. The state receives a Federal matching contribution for child support they COLLECT which makes it difficult get rid of. I say balance the state budget in some other way then to destroy families.

  • @linfinster i agree that since he is now an adult that backpay would be owed to you

  • @guitarobsessed85 I appreciate your point of view and agree that support should be for the child when received timely. My son is 23, A Real Estate agent with his own business. That money you say is owed to him will never be paid. I was the one who paid out his fathers portion of expenses when raising him. I would have no problem keeping that money for myself and should my son ever be in need, it will be ME that is there, not his father, unfortunately.

  • @langox510x My mother spent the child support she got on drugs. As a result I was malnourished and 40 pounds underweight until I was taken from my mother at the age of 14. Being malnourished caused me to be in poor health for a long while and I fell under my growth curve. I think the money given should be monitored.

  • @guitarobsessed85 But if that was the case then why does the money go directly into the mothers pocket no questions asked? Also, why are their fines that don't go to the child, but to the state? The system is heavily flawed, and doesn't even begin to look for whats the best interest of the child. It's not about a pay check, if anything whats best for my daughter is that I'm there. Forcing me to pay an irresponsible woman who can't even support herself let alone our daughter is not the answer.

  • @POKERPRONJWSOP Absolutely. I mean they don't even consider whats best for the child. If anything they should start calling it baby mama support.

  • @One5thOfWhiskey yeah have some more whiskey to smarten that brain up. The woman also has a responsibility too .. when the child is born and abortion is wrong.

  • @Horrowfilmfan well you can thank the thousands of men and women out there that don't step up to their responsibilities and force the government and anyone else to support those kids. There's a guy who came into our office here in Maine, paid off a $50,000 debt to the government just so he could get the coveted moose hunting license he won in the lottery, or the guy who had his friend cash a $10K lotto ticket & forgot to ask the friend if HE owes child support ... lol. Selfish idiots!

  • @linfinster You shouldn't look at it as he owes you, but that he owes your children that money. You should only be thinking about that money as theirs and whatever you would spend it on should directly benefit only them. If you got the money you could let's say, set up a college fund by putting them into bonds until they reach college age.

  • the child support deparment force the men to remove themselfs from the economy ..impossible to have a ex, child and decent job.....
