This is a very "thick" video. =p
-
a medic course is 1500 hours usually 11 months
-
How long is the paramedic course?
-
hey yeah i start in march really excited now especially watching these vids
-
I didnt know that paramedics were trained to use the jaws of life (00:31) i thought the fire service only done that. cool vid.

And yet when I see these young keen people my mind wanders to the back of an ambulance at three in the morning on a saturday night in liverpool and the image of a hard-nosed, cynical and weary face of a dispirited paramedic springs to mind. No-matter how keen and wellintentioned, they always turn out the same.

Must the paramedics in UK pay her apprentice ship by herself like here in germany?
Greetings from Germany

Im a junior paramedic student at Pennsylvania College of Technology, i was thinking about traveling abroad to do my senior capstone project on another EMS system, systems in UK that I should look into?

No we don't! We have a crappy little toolbox with a spanner and a screwdriver and a couple of other stuff in. But most of it is either broken or someone has stolen it! Well, this is in England anyway!
I've just sent my UCAS application to John Moore's Uni in Liverpool to do Paramedic studies foundation degree, hope I get in.

Please do not confuse the activities shown with those you will undertake with LJMU.

Why not?

The videos I have posted show staff from Mersey Regional Ambulance Service NHS Trust undertaking internal training, run by Ambulance Service tutors.
LJMU may not include such training as part of their programme. LJMU is a separate organisation with its own Senior Lecturers who design and deliver their own curriculum.
