no word that this kit is a very specific . i think set is king for a few styles. but right now,while i am commenting this, u r playing jazz. and it is faar from jazz kit. my oppinion.

I tried some different heads on my Saturn kit, what are your favourites? Evans Ec2 are too heavy and dark, G2 Clear (very similar to Remo Emperor) have a lot of attack but, like Ec, not ebough resonance for my taste...so the question is: how to have the longest sustain/resonance on the toms? Thanks

This kit is very warm! I don't know if the heads that come on the kit work well on the toms( at least to my ears they don't). They seem too ring too much, and the sound never seems to dissipate. With thicker heads on the toms, there should be no reason this kit would retain more of its natural tone.
