I am in a class that does NXT and I asked my teached about double line following and she said that have 1 on the line and the other off so if one sees the opposite it can correct itself. idk but might want to give it a try?

i would only have one suuggestion. when it turnes, insted of stopping then rotating in place, move the outer wheel and it would look much better on turnes. not so choppy.

Its not so hard, its just a bit tricky in the sense that you are dealing with 2 light sensors.
