  • The Lowrey organ is also an over sized electronic keyboard with an over sized price. But this Hammond cost much less than any top of the line Lowrey organ and this Hammond is completely digital as most of the organ sounds on a Lowrey it's Genius voices on a Lowrey organ are just analog. It too bad that Hammond does nothing for it's home organ line.

  • @patsaxon Hammond Suzuki could have had much success with the Hammond Elegante and other organs. The reason why they didn't do well was not that people would not buy them, It's because they did not market the organ right. I bet if you were to go to a dealer and ask them about a Hammond XH model or XE model, they would either not know what it is or would tell you something weird for you to buy something else like a A405. If you ask them have they play one, many have not being a dealer.

  • @patsaxon How can you sell an instrument and expect it to do well if most dealers have not even played it or know what it is

  • There was a time when an organ was designed with voicing in mind. The timbre of an organ's primary voices held the accompanying voices right along side and the organist played an ORGAN with Tibia, Diapason, Reed, String, and Horn...what the hell happened? It's like giving an aspiring painter a canvas that's halfway done by somebody else!

  • Just buy a Tyros it will do the same thing its an oversized arranger keyboard.

  • @pizdof69 you must not have heard the organ hook up to a 971 Leslie and a 525 speaker. It sound great through these speakers. Try looking at Aaron Thomas play the organ or Ollie Case.
