I think it was good that they used actual Danielle Harris Clips for the flaskback. It looked like it was around the time of Halloween 4. Bless her. Her acting is amazing :)

Brad Dourif's reaction to Danielle Harris' death is probably one of the most realistic reactions to the death of someone you love. It's not like other movies where the actor stands there as 2 beautiful tears roll down their cheeks or them saying the ever corny "NOOOOO!" When someone you love dies, you just basically break down

They may not be perfect, but what Rob Zombie does best with his Halloween films is make you understand that beneath all the cartoonish archetypes these characters often fall under, they are still human. The first film did this with Michael, and the second film does it with his victims. Annie's death, and her father's subsequent discovery of her, are a perfect example. If that does not hit you hard, then you have no soul. Simple as that.
