  • ...most of the profit. if we wish to call anything an entitlement mentality, that is far closer to it than the labor-claim to property.

  • @SomethingSea1 do you mean that taking Labor Theory of Property to its logical conclusions would create an entitlement mentality? if this is the case, how is that different from the entitlement mentality of capitalists, which i would actually argue is worse because many haven't even performed the labor required to obtain their property. for example, people who make money as business owners often (though not always) rely on their workers for the majority of the labor that is done and then make...

  • @eboyd32 "in terms of workers feeling entitled to more than they deserve?"

No. In terms of "I worked on that, it's mine!" I could think of a system where whether workers would get the item would be based on years worked on it, but it still seems iffy to me.

  • @SomethingSea1 in terms of workers feeling entitled to more than they deserve? is that what you mean? i'm a bit unclear on this idea. if this is what you mean, then how do we gauge what someone deserves? i think it really depends on how one defines it. but again, i don't know that this is what you mean, so i won't go further with it until you clarify because i don't want to go on a long response to something that you aren't even referring to.

  • @eboyd32 I've spoken of "entitlement mentality". Would that be close to what you're saying? I'm not saying that you have an entitlement mentality. However, I wouldn't doubt that it could easily go that way (in general, and not specific to you).
