About Elephant Parade:

Painting a brighter future for the endangered Asian elephant

Elephant Parade is a conservation campaign that shines a multi-coloured spotlight on the urgent crisis faced by the endangered Asian elephant. Brought to you by www.elephantfamily.org, the event will see over 250 brightly painted life-size elephants located over central London this summer 2010.

Each decorated by a different artist or celebrity, the elephants will brighten and beautify the city, enhancing every park, street corner and building they grace. Running from May to July 2010, this will be Londons biggest outdoor art event on record. With an estimated audience of 25 million, the campaign is aiming to raise £2 million for the Asian elephant and benefit 20 UK conservation charities.

  • Wow - amazing.

  • I saw this one, I think it is in mMayfair, Berkely Square. The finished article has a little bucket of paint hanging from it's mouth. Nice work Paul, I have to say it was one of my favourites. If you look at my video Elephant Parade London, MrMichael100 you will see it in place at 3 mintues 27. I am new to Paul Kentons work, and I too would love to buy that elephant, if only I had the money! I think in the auction it will be one of the more popular ones.
