i am planning on doing Kooks long tube headers 1 5/8, with there high flow cats and h pipe with slp loud mouths. has anyone herd this setup or have a idea if its good?

Kooks are some of the best headers available for the S197's. I think they only make an X pipe, but that's nothing a muffler shop can't take care of. I bet they would sound mean with s H pipe and LM's.
1 5/8 is better if you don't have any significant engine work done too. I have 1 3/4 headers and I think I'm leaving a bit of torque on the table. :(

yeah i didnt know either untill i saw it on there website, i think it just came out. i am planning on alot of engine mods, like steeda airintake, pullies, charge motion plates, stage 2 cam, stage 3 heads, and this C and L intake manifold that is suppose to come out this winter. so i should go with the 1 3/4 headers then because i am gonna to evrything right away expect for the cam and heads.

Yeah, it won't be the end of the world if you go with the 1 3/4" headers, especially if you are going to be pushing more air with those heads/cam. That's a good mod plan you have there. That intake manifold will work a lot better with ported heads. If I remember correctly, you won't need delete plates if you get that manifold; they are built into it already.
Good luck!!

if i was to get lm's would i want a off road x or h?

That would be totally up to you. An H will give it a deeper tone while an X will make it a bit more raspy. I have another sound clip where I have Violators and an H. They are just a notch quieter than the LM's.
IMO, LM's + H = best S197 exhaust I've heard.
