Boston Globe / May 17, 2008--Roberto "Kiko" Pulido, the Boston police officer who enlisted patrolmen to escort and protect cocaine shipments into the city, was sentenced to 26 yrs in prison. Pulido's lawyer said the crimes had been fueled by steroid abuse. Pulido ran transactions involving cocaine, steroids, and fraudulently obtained store gift cards, and boasted of beating up people and setting up parties at which officers consorted with known drug dealers and prostitutes.

There's a very good lesson for all of us here. Don't drive fast if you are not qualified to do so--a couple of weeks "driving instruction" at the academy only give you the false confidence that you can drive well--most cops cannot drive well, and should use sirens and lights to warn responsible drivers to avoid them.
