  • What strings do you prefer using, Warren?

  • @HedlessChickn Elixir Nanoweb Mediums in 80/20 Bronze are my favorite.

  • @samwel21 If you count the snare on the & of 2 and 4 there is no need for a 7/8 measure going into the chorus nor a 9/8 measure going into the bridge. Ultimately, meter is subjective, but my educated guess is that the song has no changes in meter whatsoever and is simply syncopated from the beginning (just hard to hear... I believe RH intentionally hid it).

  • holy shit!!i love this song!!! i didnt know u covered this! thats awesome

  • My ring finger has it's 1st blister.. it says thanks

  • @warrenmusic If you watch Jonny Greenwood play this song, you'll see him strumming upward. My guess is that is his way of keeping track of the fact that he on the up beat with those power chords. I agree with you, Warren. It is straight forward in it's time signature. The listener is just easily duped by accent changes and layers of syncopation. It's a lovely thing.

  • Haha! Wonderful adapt for the guitar, Warren... I feel fearless... now the trick is learning how... as you said to sing and to play at once! :D

Thanks anyway, and a lot. I realized though that just the guitar work on Radiohead stands by itself... like a classical guitar piece. And it seems that no one knows the right lyrics to this song - but since I trust you, I'll watch your cover and find out.

  • is this classic or acoustic guitar? thanks for tutorial by the way it really helped!.

  • This is live version of this song by Radiohead Live from the Basement it is verrryy good!!

  • my fingers hurt lol

  • @warrenmusic

the kick and snare pattern changes from the verse to the chorus though to accomodate a measure of 7/8. The snare is always on 2 and 4 and the kick is always on the & of 2 and 4.

    Excellent cover btw!
